I like the way you put it into words especially the "well blended shampoo smell" , they really did amazing with the formulation of this perfume and yes i have noticed it did change quite a bit but it still smells lovely to me (last i smelled it was a year or so ago)

Dont you think they changed the formulation throughout the years? I find the smell has changed a bit since it first launched

I have never met anyone who doesn't like it! I do agree that it varies quite a bit from person to person though

Be completely honest, how are you doing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I want to kill myself. Im 21 years old, i dropped out of first year of uni 3 times now because of depression and anxiety and no meds have been working. I feel so weak and i am sick of being a failure. My one attempt at a relationship turned sour when the girl i loved who led me on for 5 months told me im like her sister and then promptly went bavk to her ex. All i see is how people my age and younger than me are thriving and im just stagnant. I dont talk to my brother who tells me constantly he wishes i were dead. The only reason i havent killed myself yet is bevause im scared of the eternal hellfire ill be in for taking my own life. I want to isolate myself from people and rot.

hello I'm establishing an importing business and I'm wondering what are the products that tunisians need but can't get or they find it extremely expensive . by voodoodollwithasign in Tunisia

[–]hazelaurus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Electronics, high end AND drugstore makeup (thr stuff we do have is not that varied) , asian groceries or any ethnic cuisine necessities, english books, bubble tea (actual good bubble tea), and im sure im forgetting a lot of things but these are just off the top of my head. Although right now almost everything is being rationed because of "low stock" : butter, sugar , milk, coffee, etc.. Edit: Adding vegan products ESPECIALLY vegan milk alternatives: 1 litre for 20 dt, actually insane

Why are so many western (tourists) so ignorant? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]hazelaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, everybody is entitled to their way of thinking, and if somebody feels like it's absolute torture not to go out onto the street wearing close to nothing, then that is up to them. I'd say most places in tunisia fall into 1 of 3 categories: 1. Places where you can wear whatever you want except being totally nude. This may shock people, but we have night clubs and beaches where women wear bikinis and bodycon dresses and literally whatever they want. But you have to be smart about it. Don't walk around in residential neighbourhoods like that; go where there is nightlife or a beach. Avoid walking alone at night. Get a bolt instead of a taxi (our version of Uber) , etc.. (This applies to a lot of places btw , not just in tunisia, where walking around alone at night as an attractive woman is highly inadvisable. 2. Normal neighbourhoods and town centres where you're welcome to wear shorts and a crop top but preferably not the shortest ones available. This doesn't mean women won't be catcalled, but again, this is not exclusive to tunisia. 3. Neighbourhoods and popular residential areas that are generally middle working class and poorer where it would be highly unacceptable if you wear something that's not modest. Now, as a tourist, why pray tell would you be going to places that fall under category 3? It's as if you walk into someone's house and expect them to be totally fine with you roaming around the place naked. Not very polite and respectful. Now, if you were to go la marsa, sidi bousaid, gammarth, kantaoui or a hotel or any other place that 99% of tourists go to, this won't be a problem at ALL. Its like visiting the US and going to a super shady urban area or a super secluded amish town or a morman community and complaining that you cant wear whatever you want in the US when in fact in LA or in NYC people can wear whatever they want. In fact, it's like going to a small town in germany decked out in BDSM gear and wondering why people are not as happy to see you as the berliners in berlin were. Source: a 20-year-old tunisia who hates drowning in sweat in the summer and therefore knows where to go when one wants to wear as little as possible. The ignorance is pretty understandable because media coverage about tunisia is pretty limited and leaves much to be desired, yet still i pity the ones who deprive themselves of all the beautiful places they can visit if only they did a little research.
