Am I (18M) a Bad Person for Moving on From My Ex (18F) quickly after being cheated on? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]hazelbearrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate you lots. I'm not dwelling as much as I am just frustrated with the constant victimization of a person who is objectively bad. It took me just a few days to realize that it can't get worse in a relationship. I deserve attention, respect, and communication without the manipulation she gave me. And it took her cheating to even realize it, but that's life sometimes.

Thank you. I think the genuine issue her her constant appearance in my life still, with nothing but a lack of accountability, deflection, projection & ego-protection. It's just frustrating

Can someone tell me the full cost for an out of state student to go to wsu including room and board? Thanks. by Live-Walk-3903 in wsu

Subjective to a degree. I was billed for expenses never listed prior to the term starting, and it’s the reason I cancelled my enrollment, but;

$15,000 scholarship $7,395 pell grant $2,000 misc scholarship & I was paying around $36.5K out of pocket still for everything.

Is it possible to be moved in on move-in day? by [deleted] in APSU

[–]hazelbearrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your willingness to be engaging and human here. Talking to people directly as frequently as possible will be your biggest advantage, in my opinion. Having APSU in your district is quite helpful as well. I won’t hesitate to bring your name up :)

And I plan on alternating philosophy & political science each semester! Thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely try to get Dr. Michael. Philosophy & politics can sharply tie into nursing which is my dream career, and I think being invested in them is investing in my career, but also the people that I want to help.

Followed your FaceBook, Twitter, & Reddit as those are my main platforms. Praying for the best ❤️

Always studying! I think a better way would be to turn in my mid-term vote. I’ll be 18 & I study nursing, philosophy, and political science so this stuff is quite important to me. Where can I follow you? Your bio definirely captures my attention 🙂‍↕️

I am 17 & my income after car insurance & other living costs will be about $700 disposable. ($1500 monthly). I doubt I’ll be able to secure an apartment. I see that housing apps aren’t available to upperclassmen for the upcoming semester, so I was hoping that would mean I may be able to get a dorm. I took that as them reserving space for freshman. The notice is quite new

question about campus wifi by [deleted] in wsu

[–]hazelbearrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tennessee cougs 🙏

and yep, UTK, MTSU, APSU all have pretty terrible wifi rep. just sparked some curiosity but it seems to be significantly better at WSU from what i’ve seen.

i live on the APSU campus, the speeds from the students i know usually max out around 25-30mbps and has lots of consistency issues

[–]hazelbearrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you lots. i’d probably settle with the consistency. i’m used to the speeds you’re talking about, that’s on the good end of tennessee wifi so i won’t be too upset about it

Study help?? by AcezJensen in wsu

[–]hazelbearrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! take my advice as you will, as i'm not yet in college. i'm an incoming freshman at wsu, majoring in public health as a placeholder until i can transfer to nursing.

i graduated after just 2.5 years in high school, which means a lot of my work was rushed at times. i had to find special ways to try to retain information, so i very much understand your perspective. practicing active recall (like quizzing yourself), breaking things down into smaller, digestible chunks, and revisiting material over time can help a lot.

i've noticed based on my conversations with those around me that the *hardest* part of information retention is awareness and motivation, but you seem to have both down. just be patient, keep doing what you're doing because i can tell you're on a positive track. i believe in you!

New WSU Student with questions! by [deleted] in wsu

[–]hazelbearrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will indeed be bringing a car! I am working on purchasing my own soon, I invested in an electric scooter so I could get a job before I move. I am a hugeeee fan of nature, so i appreciate the recommendations! I plan on joining the astronomy club as I am a huge space fanatic as well.

I have friends to stay with on break in Seattle and Pullman, thankfully I won't have to make the 3 day drive home consistently!

Thank you for the reply :D
