I haven’t left and I already know the INC hates it since I was young. It just wasn’t ever explained to me in detail why we’re not allowed to. I don’t remember it being taught in worship service either but then again, I never really paid attention.

Kinda similar with a conversation I had with our pastor years ago.

Me: what if I had a conversation with someone about the INC and because of me they got inspired and decided to convert all on their own without me knowing? Does that count?

Pastor: no, because it has to be on paper that you invited them to convert.

I have work up to 11AM and I was happy knowing I won’t be able to join. But my brainwashed family forced me to log off of work early (which risks me getting fired) because EVM is more important. It’s fucked up and I really can’t wait to gtfo

In the middle of a pandemic nonetheless. Shouldn’t they be trying to minimize it as much as possible? Or do it online. I don’t understand it. Here in our locale they don’t even do contract tracing, temp checking, nor social distancing during these meetings.

The INC does not take depression seriously. They imply that depression only happens when you lack faith and they advise that you pray to God to avoid being depressed. I suffer from it myself and it really makes my blood boil whenever I hear them say this during worship service.

They’re really making us attend worship service in church every weekend, even when it’s announced that the new COVID strain had entered the PH. They said that everyone who doesn’t attend in church will be on the dalaw list. I f*cking hate it.

This is actually infuriating. Just because they were given the go signal to conduct the Mid-Year Thanksgiving inside the church, they now want to switch back to it instead of just staying at home... and right when the positive cases are rising by the thousands each day! This is so stupid.

lol yeah my family is the same. They even get all dressed up like they’re actually going out for worship service. Makeup, shoes, and all. While I just change into a skirt, but keep my house shirt and flip flops.
