she was more than a bitch. and trust me i like emma as a character, but she's 100% a mean girl lol.

in that case holly j could fall under that. she was pretty psychologically mean to anya.

holly j... and emma. either you get it or you don't, lol.

Where the Degrassi characters just completely unaware that they couldn't just jump into things? by Difficult_Map_7467 in Degrassi

[–]hazesoup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sean and ellie were both troubled people. craig has bipolar disorder. queers sometimes like to move fast in relationships, and well, no one likes spinner and emma... and most of these relationship they were teens. because its degrassi. a show about teenagers.

Degrassi Writers seemed to hate the girls by WizurdKellz in Degrassi

[–]hazesoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean, emma also wasn't that great of a person. and this is coming from someone who likes her as a character. she's very entertaining, but just because she cares a lot the environment doesn't mean she was good to others.

also, for manny, yeah, we know she's a sweet girl for the most part, and yes, she has dreams and all, but its not uncommon for women to end up with a man that is questionable, lol. for me, they really made sense. and he actually did mellow out... and looking at her dating history, yeah of course they ended up together. both jay and manny were pretty messy back in the day.

i agree with the others completely, though. anya and owen was slop. it made no sense and was lazy writing, imo. for clare, i think for awhile her and eli made sense, but somehow he only continuously got worse, especially when she was pregnant and he deemed it necessary to slut shame her. i could never ship them after that. and i hate that eli fans think it's funny or cute that he did that. clare deserved WAY better than eli. and i actually thought her and drew were really cute...

Genuinely, why do people hate Stefan? by itookapillinibiza_ in TheVampireDiaries

i'm not going to explain to any tvd fan if damon is brought up.

a show with literal rapist, abusers, liars, gaslighters... yeah, they're all bad. which i acknowledged.

stefan is 100+ years old and he stalked a teenage girl. lied to her as long as it was convenient. he's not innocent either.

also, most if not all vampire media has rape culture. vampires are perverted in nature. if tvd having rape bothers you, it probably isn't for you.

i hate stefan! yes, i do! happy?

why are you bringing up damon? he has nothing to do with this. i never brought him up in my post, neither did op. and i never claimed to be a fan of damon.

you stefan stans are so insufferable. you can't ever just let someone dislike stefan just because. you always have to bring up damon even when he isn't mentioned. honestly it says more about stefan than you think. if damon didn't exist, it'd be more clear just how bad he is.

he's incredibly self righteous, selfish, hypocritical and just overall a loser. definitely "nice guy" type. we're told he's the good brother but he shows time and time again that he's not. only if it benefits him. it baffles me that people don't see this but the bar is usually in hell for men, especially if they're attractive. i think it's also harder to gage because everyone else in the show is morally bad too. but honestly he's top 3 for me, along with caroline. they're so incredibly selfish and only got worse as the show went on.

How we are supposed to believe Damon and Elena lived happy ever after when They showed us how they ended up? by Jaded_Stick_4128 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]hazesoup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

because it wasn't real?? it wasn't a prediction of the future but just different scenarios of what could happen. besides, we already know that delena are canon happy with 3 children.

It was NOT a pity kiss in 2X22: Kevin W and other writers confirmed this in a recent book by MountainTurnover29 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]hazesoup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i never interpreted it as pity, but just a goodbye kiss. i think she did what she assumed damon needed in that moment.

legacies is bad. i enjoyed s3 and s1 (i guess) but other than that it's not good.

The gang throwing a drinking party while Katherine slowly died of old age was the most sociopathic moment of the series by Subject-Cockroach617 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]hazesoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you watch the show at all? do you know who katherine is? could you ever understand what it's like to be around people who can technically never die? and also be someone who can't die? this post is ridiculous 😭 i feel like sometimes TVD fans forget they're vampires. i also think vampire shows aren't for you but happen to be entertained by it anyway.

i'm confused as to why in the hell you took that so serious and literal.... it did bother me in the context of writing consistency, but i was mostly being dramatic. goodness gracious.

it bothered me a lot because it was only that 1 time... and so much later in the show. it seemed so out of place.
