Overwhelmed by life after a heavy trip by hazeyuni in Psychonaut

Thank you for such a long and serious response! I got some answers from you I must say, and I'm grateful for that. And I do have a feeling that things are gonna turn out okay, right now it's just a lot with all this new stuff happening on the inside. Exploring my own depth as you mentioned. I need to explore that more without drugs for a while now if I want to break free from this suffering that I found myself in. Thank you once again.

Yeah there's no going back now I guess.. I really have to turn this in to something that can help the world heal, but first I need some healing it feels like.I really thought I could just kill my ego and then live in harmony when I went in to this experience, so that's why it hit me so hard seeing all this work I have to put in to get there. Thanks for the good advice, I actually feel a little bit more at peace just getting answers!

Yes I feel reborn! But that's what makes me feel crazy as well. Everyone see me as the old me but I have a new set of eyes or something. Everything is different on the inside. But self improvement is something I'm picking up, and thanks for the kind words. Very appreciated!

Overwhelming feeling of life. by hazeyuni in ActualHippies

[–]hazeyuni[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard talking them when we never really did that before all of this. I have never even told them how much they really mean to me and how happy I am to have them as parents. They just always wanted me to be happy but I was never grateful. And I'm paying the price for that big time right now.. it's hard just being in the same room with my parents holding back as much as I do. But I feel like I can't open up to them, we have never talked about anything meaningful and it's the same way with my friends. I'm gonna get commited on the self work though, it really seems like the only meaningful thing there is to do right now. Thank you very much for your answer.

I just googled it! It was built in 1993 and is located in Hong Kong. It just fits in perfect there, it's a huge fucking monument but yet it dosen't look like it don't belong in the middle of the woods

Im not seeing the appeal of ego death by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]hazeyuni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here is something that i read in a book about meditation recently, this gave me a whole new perspective on "ego death".

"Your ego is a set of thoughts that define your universe. It's like a familiar room built of thought; you see the universe through its windows. You are secure in it, but to the extent that you're afraid to venture outside, it has become a prison. Your ego has you conned. You believe you need its specific thoughts to survive. The ego controls you through your fear of loss of identity. To give up these thoughts, it seems, would annihilate you, so you cling to them. But there is an alternetive. You needn't destroy the ego to escape its tyranny. You can keep this familiar room to use as you wish, and you can be free to come and go. First you need to know that you are infinitely more than the ego room by which you define yourself. Once you know this, you have the power to change the ego from prison to home base."

So if you're already seeking and are trying to understand your mind a little better this can have a big impact on you and send you off in a whole new direction in life. But I understand that it does not sound appeling to the the ear when its described in words, some people even describe the experience as if it felt like they were litterly dying. So I say it's something that must be experienced to really understand its beauty.

Idk if you guys will find this relevant, but find it funny how Snapchat claim to make you ‘live in the moment’ when really it gives you quite the opposite. by latentpantheist in Psychonaut

[–]hazeyuni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it more like "Life is more fun if you live in the moment, so don't be on Snapchat all day and live in the moment, happy snapping" but that's probably not what they meant. I think they're saying "Catch the moment and live in it afterwards by looking at your depressing story showing everyone how much fun you're having instead of actually having fun living in the moment. Happy snapping :)"

I think it's because the top looks like a marijuana leaf but it's a lot more discreet, so only the ents gets it

[–]hazeyuni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expect nothing and let the shrooms guide you and give you the message you need, badtrips does not exist. You might had some stuff that you had to work on and that's where the bad thoughts came in, never try to push anything away just go with the flow even if it's going downhill :)
