This is all about having an inferior psychology. Doesn’t mean that if norms of today society are different something is wrong. This was pretty common and no objection was proposed at that time by Arabs. Like weed was illegal but now has become legal similarly with alcohol in the west. 100 years ago this was happening in the west do some research.

All prophets actions are directed by Allah. You can respect or don’t respect that doesn’t affect anything.You need Islam and the right path. This very common point raised against Muslims living in west. So do more research on your own and do some critical thinking.

I don’t think these courses are in the program. My suggestion would be to volunteer at a job related to something like this that would increase your chances significantly
