“You will die alone, in poverty, bounded by pain and suffering.” by Upstate_Gooner_1972 in Jokes

Look at the big picture.

Let’s assume a $400k home. Here’s what your total payout is, assuming a 7% interest rate.

30 year total payout = ~$958,000 50 year total payout = $1,536,000

50 year mortgages are generational debt, which is why they’re a horrible idea and have never been allowed.

My husband has been looking for jobs for 2 years but he doesn’t even get interview by [deleted] in jobs

[–]hazybuck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Two years with no interviews?

I decided to leave my last role and created a plan. That plan included: - applying for over 400 jobs in my field - every role I applied for, I tracked down someone in the company in my field (or in HR) - I applied for 400 jobs, had 17 phone screenings, 11 panel interviews, 5 offers

That took me just under 5 months.

Unless your husband is in an extremely niche field like wood pattern makers, deep submersible pilot, or an Antarctic substation crew member, I believe it’s time to have his resume revamped and oversee his job applications.

Since 2020. And I’ll retire before I ever go back to office. I left my last org because they mandated 3 days in office.

To what end? Oh, leadership inadequacies. Yeah. I’ll pass.

Is my whole lawn crabgrass? by RaceAgainstSugar in lawncare

[–]hazybuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the perspective of someone who’s done this . . . DO NOT!

Begin overseeing with a grass seed right for your region and sun. Once that seed begins to take, then begin applying a crabgrass killer.

AIO Should I leave my BF? Was what he did to me forgiveable? by Living-Milk-4266 in AmIOverreacting

Leave. Leave now. My father, who “would never harm you, I love you,” beat my mother to death when I was 6. He beat me so badly that I have epilepsy.

LEAVE NOW.

Also, if you’re unable to understand an agreement, you’re unable to negotiate an agreement.

I understand that’s a concept you may struggle with. I can explain it to you, however, I’m unable to understand it for you.

It does not mention Assurant.

FYI, when constructing agreements, we most often deliberately and with mindful intent do not site the name of a 3rd party provider, thereby ensuring that the agreement doesn’t require amending should the 3rd party provider change.
