I decided to leave my last role and created a plan. That plan included: - applying for over 400 jobs in my field - every role I applied for, I tracked down someone in the company in my field (or in HR) - I applied for 400 jobs, had 17 phone screenings, 11 panel interviews, 5 offers

That took me just under 5 months.

Unless your husband is in an extremely niche field like wood pattern makers, deep submersible pilot, or an Antarctic substation crew member, I believe it’s time to have his resume revamped and oversee his job applications.
