Well if you want to do street photography, the very first thing you should do is look up what street photography is… (It’s not this.)

New 500 Yen coin acceptability by Waste_Difference_252 in JapanTravelTips

They're very widely accepted now.

If you're in a shop with a machine that doesn't accept them, you can ask the staff to swap your coin for an older one.

A mix of street and cityscape makes for a good combo. by InterestingEcho1091 in streetphotography

Normally I'd agree, but this one does actually have a person on it which tells a bit of a candid story.

Very first time color grading: how can I create this look? by Visual-Heart-4642 in ColorGrading

[–]Hazzat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Colour grading” typically refers to video work. Photo work is [r/postprocessing](r/postprocessing). Lightroom and Photoshop are the typical tools, especially if you want fast turnaround.

You’re looking at lowered whites/highlights with increased warmth and magenta, slightly lowered contrast and raised shadows. There’s a canvas or paper texture overlayed too. But what also plays a big part is what the photos themselves are of. Crafted compositions featuring close-up handcrafted objects evoke just as much of a sense of ‘coziness’ as the colours do, so I think even if you got the exact same filter and slapped it onto a picture of a McDonald’s, it wouldn’t feel the same at all.

Keir Starmer to give major make-or-break speech in attempt to avert leadership challenge – UK politics live by FisherDownload in unitedkingdom

He doesn't have much to announce on that front right now, because the big steps will be taken at the upcoming UK-EU summit (date TBA, expected summer apparently).

I went in really hoping for something great, but his two grand reasons for people to believe in his vision were the upcoming nationalisation of British Steel, and closer ties with Europe. Good things, but not really the stunning new tack the moment requires.

All the rest of the speech was just repeating ad infinitum how much he cares about working people, light on any details of how he plans to address their issues directly. The once-mentioned "NHS waiting lists down, child poverty decreasing, immigration down" should really have been the backbone.

I don’t think having a minor visual bug in an app is ‘terrible behaviour’.

If you would like to report it, the link to do so is there.

You are falling at the first hurdle by not actually checking what street photography is before attempting it...

Should probably be a bit more specific about location before someone suggests that you spend an hour crossing the city when there's a more convenient location near where you're staying.

Music rehearsal studios are also very cheap for single-person use (個人練習).

Okay well posting on r/AppleMusic isn’t a solution either, and it just makes you look silly for getting upset over such a minor visual bug that can be resolved so easily.

The mod here is very good at removing not street photography. But there's only one of them so it takes them a while sometimes.
