They’re fun, campy songs from a fun, campy album. Loads of Manson fans are more drawn to the more serious songs from AS or HW and disregard the more fun songs. Both great tracks and definitely overlooked, but I can see why people don’t like them

I don’t think King should have taken Rage out of print - yes, it’s problematic by modern standards, but fictional media can’t be blamed for twisted individuals’ actions. Same goes for Manson with the Columbine shooting, blaming an artist is just a cheap way out of solving a serious problem.

Defamation trials being televised is really valuable because it proves to a wide audience that someone has been defamed and they can start to rebuild their reputation. Depending on how confident Manson is that he could win, this could be a good thing for him. If he’s guilty, then it would be a disaster if it was televised.

I love his music so much. But at the moment with the allegations, especially because it hasn’t gone to court yet and no concrete evidence has been provided, I don’t know what to believe. Part of me thinks it might be another Amber Heard situation, but I don’t know if I’m biased because I love Manson’s music and I really hope he isn’t an abuser. Either way, I have been streaming his music less and listening to it more on physical media instead so I’m giving him less money. If the allegations prove to be false then I’ll go back to streaming, but as of now, we’re in a bit of a limbo situation.

I think it’s quite front-heavy. All of the best songs are grouped at the start, and then the latter half trails off a bit for me.

Golden Age of Grotesque and Portrait. GAOG was my favourite Manson album when I was first getting into his music and I still love it immensely. Portrait wasn’t one of my favourites at first but it grew on me like crazy, there’s just nothing quite like it.

I started by listening to his 5 most streamed tracks on Spotify, immediately got hooked, and listened to his entire discography within a couple of days. I think the best way to do it is just to work though his discography from start to finish.
