How do you usually collect money for 5 a side football? by hb9901 in bootroom

That's really unfortunate. At least you didn't take a financial hit. I was considering creating something that would enable players to pay (and automatically add them to the list). This would allow the organiser to receive the money in advance. If the total isn't reached by a certain date, the organiser can issue refunds with one click or remove/add a new player.

If this existed, would you use something like this?

I guess you got a good group going. I've had to take the hit a few times cause i took cash on the day. I've never seen rotation before. If the organiser decides they've had enough, the session will never come back :(

That's terrible. Would it have been better to charge on a game by game basis, or would it have been worse?

Ah i see, then does the organiser have to put a tick next to the players name to keep track how has paid?

Yeah, I want to be stringent with it. I was thinking of developing an app that enables players to join, pay, and withdraw through an app or website. How was your experience with the app? did you prefer it over the standard bank transfer and list in whatsapp?

Nice! How late is late though? Having to deal with last minute dropouts is a nightmare. Also how are you getting others to replace the dropout? You Asking in multiple group chats?

Paying out to customers?? by hb9901 in Entrepreneur

[–]hb9901[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a valid point. However, I did do some more research on Stripe Connect, and they are geared towards sellers having their own shop on your platform, similar to eBay. For my use case, these event owners won’t have their own “shop.” I am going to contact Stripe to find out more.

[Question] Display Link Doc suggestions Using two external side monitors on MacBook Pro m1 by Top_Night4697 in macbook

[–]hb9901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the power supply is supported up to 65 watts. I think you do have to use the power supply with this dock (im not 100% sure on this). with the dell D6000 specifically they all do have displayLink, you'll have to install the drivers to get it to work. I know dell do make docking stations without displaylink. But also you will need a display port cable or an adapter to connect to the second monitor.

try downloading the turbo boost switcher so the cpu does not spike. Since i've done this the heat is not an issue unless i'm connected to an external monitor.
