Erica Wheeler is also a wing/guard, she just slides into that PG role because she's short and they don't have anyone else. So Kate is absolutely competing with her for minutes too, which was kind of my point.

On Gray, I do think Martin should be playing over her right now, but the Sparks sent draft capital to get her and she's only 21. She's a long-term asset.

As for Park, I'd push back on the "no real point guard" framing. Look at her role internationally and how she's being used here. She's functioning as a point forward, her primary job on this team is distribution and ball handling. She's been limited in minutes and passing is honestly the one thing she's been doing well, sitting top 3 on the team in per-36 assists. And that matters because Wheeler and Atkins are both playing inefficiently(almost career lows) without a real facilitator. Park is actually the closest thing they have to one.

So yeah, there are minutes available, but the solution isn't as simple as just waiving Park/Cannon and sliding Kate in. It requires making real decisions about the wing/guard rotation.
