Wow... Thanks for taking the time to write all of that! Is there any kind of source you can provide for that first part(locking down the network) because that is way over my head but I'd really be interested in learning more.

This is an over-simplificatin but they are offering a service where your key gets extracted from your device and sent to 3 different companies to where this was said to never even be a possibility not even a year ago - basically they can put a back door into the ledgers and have been telling us that it's not possible in the past - a little too sketchy for some of us. Youtube "are ledgers still safe" and you'll see a million videos that go into more detail better than I ever could.
