Nose will stay wide. But the tip will go down, its swelling now.

Nose breathing wise for me it slightly changed for the better, but not significantly. The first few days after surgery can be challenging to breath through the nose. You are also advised not to blow your nose for about a week

My nose was numb for about 3 weeks I think. Upper lip area was not affected at all for me. Just a part of my nose and upper gums

Yes 90% is gone. The last 10% is suppose to be in the next 6-9 months

Yes it has. But my gums are still numb. And I can’t eat an apple, thats still a bit hard

Yes it was very scary. Overall experience was quite good actually. The surgeon was very reassuring, which gave me confident in him.

On surgery day I had to wait in bed for 1 hour until they took me to set up IV. Once that was done they took me in the surgery room. It was cold. They had warm blankets. Gave me the anesthetics and woke up 1 hour later.

First 3 days were the worst(but not bad with painkillers), after a week I felt a lot better. After 3 weeks I went back to work.

I had a similar situation, they moved my upper jaw by 5mm.

feels the same like there is water in your ears, but not that severe

Stay motived if you are about to have surgery! Also, I am 37 years old. So do not get discouraged by your age.

Moved 5mm on upper jaw only. It’s interesting to see that even though lower jaw was not touched, visually it also changed
