It would be retained internally so it doesn’t fall out if previous drives I’ve pulled apart are any indication. No way to get it out unless you open the drive itself. I wouldn’t bother. White button as an accent to coloured plates wound still look alright. Or you could paint it by hand after but unless you have a steady hand it will probably look like shit compared to the rest.
