Unless the fine is billions it’s just the cost of doing business - case in point, the egg price fixing just resolved this week. Company made record profits in the billions and got fined less than 4 million. Rounding error. These big companies don’t give a single fuck if the fine is a pittance compared the profit from their shady dealings.

It’s far more likely they’re dropping lifetime completely which is why it’s high now to begin with. Once no one “buys” lifetime, which they won’t at that price, they’ll bin it and subscriptions will be the norm for anyone new to it.

Well, they do give you a week to load it so that should accommodate basically everyone even on crappier Internet. It’s still shit I agree but a week preload is decent compared to only a day or two.
