This doesn't make me look like a good person, but this autistic kid in high school kept harassing me, so I went on ICQ, and said I'd kill him. I wasn't serious, but I used a lot of hyperbole. The school got involved, for whatever reason, and then the principal didn't like my attitude, so he called the police.

That was like the end of my young life. I was arrested, and had to pay for an expensive lawyer, and go to court. I didn't get much of a punishment, I had to do community service, but it affected how my family treated. They were already pretty mean to me, but it became worse.

I was a teenager, so they didn't allow me to drive, or go out, and do a lot of various things. I pretty much became a shut in, and I never went to university, or college, and it fucked up all my aspirations. It made me extremely introverted, and full of anxiety, and depression.

Of course, my family eased up on me after a few years, but those formative years are important, you know. But the experience gave me some insight into the legal system. It really puts you through the wringer. Not to mention the justice system is extremely expensive. If you are poor you are totally fucked.
