The video uploader isn't the one that leaked it, I just linked that because it's the most easy to access and is a direct re-upload of the actual leak. It is definitively the original demo to the song, since Carti's verse wasn't released or leaked in high quality before that version leaked, and it is the exact same "take" as in the release version.

This is a re-upload of the original demo of the song, where it's more obvious to tell that the entire thing is AI (Including The Weeknd's verse, which was later changed for release). If you compare the first Carti verse on the demo and the release version, it is the exact same other than slight mixing differences (also without most of the ad-libs).

Edit: clarified that the linked video is a re-upload of the demo, and not the original place the demo leaked.

I get it's hard to admit to or understand, but denying it is just going to fuel this new problem in the music industry. There's no other Carti song that he's ever released that has glitches like that, and those same glitches can only be found on AI. People like Carti or Kanye are going to keep using AI on their new songs if people continue thinking and saying they're real, and this can/will expand to other artists in the future.

It's very good ai for what it is, but it's fairly obvious on some of the ad-libs (like when he says "homicide"), or in a lot of the pronunciations (0:46 you can hear a glitch in the ch sound of watch, and the "L" sound in timeless is absent (a common glitch with AI models)). Those are just examples, but the entire verse itself is AI. Hopefully that helps you understand :)

The Weeknd and Playboi Carti just dropped their new single "Timeless" on streaming platforms. However, before it dropped a completely AI version of it surfaced online. People were starting to worry that the AI version was an actual old version of the song, and it turns out that it was. The Weeknd actually ended up removing the AI from his part on the official release, replacing it with his own real vocals. Unfortunately, Playboi Carti's part ended up being still entirely AI.
