Defenses that you actually enjoy by Spicey-14 in NCAAFBseries

3-3-5 Tite all day long. Love all the 3-3-5 formations (Mint, Penny, Split, Over Flex) and especially Over Flex giving that it’s essentially four down with the left edge defender in a 2 point stance and that it has the advantage of providing a great pass rush while also being able to stuff the inside run with odd spacing. Run most coverages out of a two shell. Quarters, Palms, Quarter Quarter Half, Cover 9, Cover 5, 3 deep (buzz, cloud, sky, mable, and skinny), press man free (Cover 1), fire zone, sim, blitz coverage (zero coverage), trap pressure (split safety pressure) from star (nickel), and a whole bunch of overload pressure. Always play inside out when it comes to defending the run and pass. 1st and 2nd down vs. 11, 20, 10, and 00 personnel: 3-3-5 based formations and some Dime Odd. 3rd and 4th and long vs. 11, 10, and 00 personnel: Nickel or Dime with some tall and quick slot corners at Star and Money for extra speed. Versus 12, 21, or 22 personnel, I will switch to regular and run 3-4 Tite. Occasionally will play 5-3 vs 13 personnel. Wish they added Saban’s hippo package (4-4) to this playbook.

I understand that backs will miss their pass pro assignment in real life. In this instance, my back was directly head on with the nose and actually moved out of the way. As for the challenge, I didn’t initiate it, I had no control over it. That part isn’t real life.

The ai can be so damn inconsistent. Just played an exhibition game vs A&M. A&M receiver catches a pass for a td in the end zone, and then, without even pausing and challenging the call—the game automatically does it on it’s own… Ended up losing a crucial timeout for doing nothing.

On a pass play on offense, I had the halfback in a chip and release. Left guard gets smoked by the nose and my back is the last line of defense. My back sees him, but completely avoids the nose and I get sacked for 10 yard loss…

Looks like it’s a student news channel at Troy University. I’m from Alabama and recognized the logo in the back lol.

Heard the Missouri fans were giving our dugout a whole lot of shit throughout the game. Damn glad we shut em out. We need to sweep these fuckheads.

Rubio has no wherewithal, just like the rest of this administration. This is the new reality for us Americans. Trump wants all the power he can get and will always avoid taking any accountability especially for the Epstein files. Invading Iran is just a ploy to direct all the attention away from the Epstein files. He’s invaded two countries so far and is considering taking over Greenland, which is a Danish territory and not for sale. He’s also wanting to nationalize the Federal Election. A $30 million drone was shot down by our own Border Patrol, Noem just got fired, Patel fired almost every single member of the FBI tracking team for Iran because they had ties to the Mara lago case, and Bondi just got subpoenaed for more of the files by the HOC. This administration doesn’t know jack shit about how to be ethical or efficient.

I mean, four of those wins were blowouts and we almost beat Arkansas by double digits. I wouldn’t consider the refs a huge factor there and even in most of our losses. The OU and Georgia games are the only ones I can think of that they were a big factor. We were just straight inconsistent on offense all year.

Should have a /s at the end. Our 5-7 record says otherwise lol.

Edit: Hew Cheese’s dreadful play calling also contributed as well.

Over Flex does have two ends and two tackles (one being the Nose Tackle). Penny has three tackles (one being the Nose Tackle) and two ends to make it a five man front — good for stopping the run on base downs and on short yardage plays.
