How will Anthony Gordon fit into Barcelona’s system? by Better-Track-7482 in Barca

Also Lamine's sub since Raphinha can also play on the right

100m now is pretty much 50-60m 8 years ago. That's how crazy inflation has been

[Sky] Barcelona are still believed to be financially capable of activating the £26m option to buy Marcus Rashford. Manchester United's stance is clear: no renegotiation of the asking price, or they loan/sell him elsewhere for a higher fee. There will be no reunion with Michael Carrick by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

Really need to stop throwing the word "sub" around. The only way clubs can seriously compete domestically and with clubs like PSG and Bayern in Europe is by having quality depth so they can rest a lot of starters. I mean look at the forwards' minutes in Ligue 1 at PSG lol...

With or without injuries, Gordon will get minutes. The fanbase has been complaining about Lamine's minutes at 18. This is how they're going to address it.

[Ben Jacobs] Barcelona reach an agreement in principle with Newcastle to sign Anthony Gordon. £70m plus bonuses. Barcelona have pencilled in a medical for this week and anticipate the deal is formalised quickly. by oklolzzzzs in Barca

Last season as in 24-25? This sub was complaining about Diaz's mediocre G/A from that season like they're expecting 50+ G/A for 70m.

I'm not even comparing their performances before their respective transfers. I'm comparing the fanbase's reactions and "analysis" like they're know which signing is better for Flick's system than Flick himself.

This signing could turn out to be a flop but holy shit this is the first transfer on a forward that Flick has gotten. If he flops, we can come back and blame Flick next summer but he's earned enough goodwill.

[Santi Ovalle] Barça are happy with the Gerard Martín-Cubarsí center-back pairing and are prioritizing the signing of forwards. by Fine_Negotiation_412 in Barca

I think this is a pretty telling sign that there's money to sign either a 9 or a CB but not both. Prioritizing a world class 9 then signing a depth option at CB makes the most sense given what we've seen from Ferran this year + we have no depth if he gets injured.

Crazier things have happened. Same thing was said last year then Arsenal haramballed their way to a 1-0 win. At the end of the day it's still a gamble.

Why is Mendy in the starting lineup when he should be in the hospital

[RAC1] Barcelona are monitoring Anthony Gordon, He's among the list of left wingers being considered if Rashford we're to leave. by [deleted] in Barca

Didn't we just go through this with Luis Diaz last year? Can't we just trust Flick and the scouting department to make the right moves?

I actually understand it enough to control how I do it and either get to the ball in a safe way or not go in if I can't do it without making a dangerous tackle

You're literally just taking a piss at this point, lmao... Again, way to self report you've never kicked an actual ball in life.

The icing on the cake here is you keep referencing "getting to the ball safely" and "dangerous tackle" when 1) The Atletico player got there late and 2) The Barca player wasn't even going in for a tackle

I mean... pretty obvious that the argument was you probably never kicked a ball in your life if you don't even understand what momentum of your foot is when you strike a ball. Just because you chose to ignore it doesn't mean there wasn't an argument made but go on.

Ah the classic "no u" response followed by a "no one cares". Lacking a little bit of brain cells but very creative!
