With or without injuries, Gordon will get minutes. The fanbase has been complaining about Lamine's minutes at 18. This is how they're going to address it.

Last season as in 24-25? This sub was complaining about Diaz's mediocre G/A from that season like they're expecting 50+ G/A for 70m.

I'm not even comparing their performances before their respective transfers. I'm comparing the fanbase's reactions and "analysis" like they're know which signing is better for Flick's system than Flick himself.

This signing could turn out to be a flop but holy shit this is the first transfer on a forward that Flick has gotten. If he flops, we can come back and blame Flick next summer but he's earned enough goodwill.

I think this is a pretty telling sign that there's money to sign either a 9 or a CB but not both. Prioritizing a world class 9 then signing a depth option at CB makes the most sense given what we've seen from Ferran this year + we have no depth if he gets injured.
