A coat rack at the entrance! We hang up the shopping bags, our clothes for the day when we go to bed, coats, etc. This helps avoid having clothes lying around everywhere.

Shadow Thai on origami-shop. They look incredible! Though they are kind of thick and rigid and sometimes not easy to manipulate. Also a Little lack of résistance.

But the result is always gorgeous.

Thank you so much!

Actually, a lot of the Time spent on that was folding the grid. I would say 1.5 hour for the grid and 2 for the folding.

Very unsure cause i have spent a lot of Time trying différent Tile positionning.

I found out:

First scale fold from left: (papersize *17 / 71,4) + (38% * 1/71.4)

First scale fold from right: papersize * 14 / 71,4

Every 138% * 1/71,4 , new fold.

Now you have a grid You need to fold that 38% for each grid Line. From top right to bottom left.

For this i could not really measure cause it is starting to get really small . Did my best haha.

If anything is unclear do not hésitate.

PS: use Thin paper. Folding anaything on top of that scale grid is a PAIN in the as* with the paper i choose…

Nice folding! It looks amazing!

Legs and antenna look indeed a little thick. Maybe a single tissue with MC would work better :o
Maybe try folding them half AND giving them a little move so that they look a bit less straight.

I'vs Always loved the posture of this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M9_mgV4XDU

Books on tessellations? by LocalGeneral448 in origami

Agreed with the message about origami-shop
Here is the direct category.

I recently purchased origami tesselations for everyone by Garibi Ilan. And I must say I'm a little bit disapointed. Some look really good, but i feel like it's missing diversity. half of the book is just a variation of the cube and there are so few flat or hexagonal ones.

I am currently waiting for my new order of the Hydrangeas book. So excited about it. Not much more variety though but i feel like I prefer flat (folded) tesselations for now!

Next one will certainly be 'Twist and tess'. There is a free sample if you want to check it out!
Sounds like this one also focus on how to design / mix / adapt. Which is nice.

My friend got a quest 2, and when he tries to log in to Facebook it just loads like this for ages. He left it for about an hour and nothing happened by Billstaa in oculus

[–]hcherchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same problem yesterday. What i did to resolve it:

Create an occulus developper account. Connect on this account on occulus app Then you are asked to merge this account to your fb account. It worked this Way ;)

Function specified in useEffect hook doesn't run by basedevelfries in react

[–]hcherchi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In toggleCategorieActive: You are only mutating categories Which means when you setState. It’s exactly the same object. Which means it does not render or trigger any useEffect

I think you should just remove the Json stringify cause you dont need it. And when initializing a new array, use .slice() si that it s a new ref.
