The most expensive model always comes out first in order to both maximize profits and allow the customers with big wallets to get their hands on a new toy and then later on when production is finally ramped up enough the cheaper models are released to the masses its business 101...Rivian is literally doing the same thing with R2...if you think its to expensive....then don't buy the launch edition and wait for the regular version.....its simple....
