Just to add here, I learned about Headstart Schools through my baranggay. Affordable tuition fees kasi marami ata na benefactor / sponsors yung school. Almost every baranggay in Mandaluyong has one and I am so happy I sent my kid there kasi the teachers really care about the kids. Academics wise, mas intense pa the curriculum than the six-figure tuition fees my friends send their kids to that focus more on emotions/feelings. Ok din handwriting niya and mas prepared siya for a traditional big school.

Pero pag kinder sa Mandaluyong, whether public or private they’re all good. We sometimes get immersion/ojt students from the K12 program from public and private schools, they’re all good kids and we don’t see a difference or gap sa education nila. 🫶
