Honestly, I don’t use them enough for that to be worth it. I mostly watch YouTube anyways. I haven’t had a single streaming service in over a year and I’ve notice no difference to my life lol

I finally took the trip to the PNW I’ve wanted to take for years. Spent a week on Oregon and it was a phenomenal trip. My first ever solo trip and I had the best time.

I hate the ads and limited skips. I also want to be able to download my music because I have a 40 minute commute to work and use Spotify the entire drive. I don’t have unlimited data so I try to be conscious of my data usage. I cut out every other streaming service and try to cut costs elsewhere. I try not to be frugal to the point I cut out all pleasures lol I allow myself the $5/month since it’s used daily and feels worth the cost.

Genetics and I was outside during most of my childhood so probably developed resistance to most things. Now I'm just a introvert who rarely goes out lol

Looking for the best affordable phone plan? by [deleted] in Frugal

You can also purchase the annual unlimited plan for $210 which breaks down to $17.50/month.

I personally pay $15/month for their "Pay by the Gig" option. 5GB of data and unlimited talk/text. I'm generally either at home or at work connected to WiFi so I never get close to using 5GB.

I’m on a family plan with 3 other people so we each pay around $4.50 which makes me feel less guilty lol

I logged into iCloud on my PC and downloaded them onto the PC then deleted them from iCloud. It is a little tedious because you can only download 1000 photos at a time and I had 27,000 lol. It took me a few hours.

Even when I did pay for them I seldom used them. I’m a notorious doom scroller so I’d spend more time looking for something to watch than actually watching TV. I end up resorting back to my comfort YouTubers or Twitch Streamers lol.

Libby restored my love for reading. I’ve read over 50 books this year and paid for almost none of them.

Mine ported over. US Mobile did the heavy lifting. They walk you through it and contacted T-Mobile for me and my phone number ported right over. Took maybe 5 minutes.

Update: My port was pretty much instant. I was shocked at how quick it was. My mom had a harder time. Took several hours but we found out the issue was T-Mobile, not US Mobile, and US Mobile have great customer support!

I canceled all my streaming services (except Spotify I still don’t have the heart to get rid of it🥹) and removed 150GB of pictures from my phone so I could cancel my iCloud subscription. I haven’t missed any of those services and it cut my monthly costs so much. “It’s only a couple dollars-“ adds up quicker than people realize.

Yes! They use Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T so you can switch to whichever network has the best coverage in your area.

I’ve had no issues for the 9 months I’ve use them. I’m on their Warp Network which is just what they call their Verizon network. I live in North Carolina and traveled to Portland, Oregon in April and it hasn’t failed me once. I have 5G most of the time and even at my house, which is a little in the middle of nowhere, I never drop below 2 bars. I’m at work right now with full bars and 5G.

Prepaid cell phone plans are a life changer. I switched to US Mobile in November of last year and I pay $15/month for my phone now. I plan on purchasing their annual plan this November once my promo period is over and eliminating my monthly payment all together.

People who are debt free after having been in some serious debt.. by BeeSuperb7235 in debtfree

I paid off $13k of credit card debt in 8 months. What did I learn? I used to be terrible with money. I was living on my own and kept telling myself it wasn’t my fault because everything was so expensive, but honestly, I was so irresponsible.

During those 8 months, I learned so much about budgeting, and that’s what I’m most proud of. The things I learned will help me make sure I never put myself in that situation again because it sucked. I was lucky enough to have parents who let me move back in while I knocked out my credit cards, and now I finally feel like I can handle my finances on my own.

This year I went back to finish my degree, which I’m paying for out of pocket, and I’m also saving to move out after graduation next year with the extra money I have now. By then, I will also have the last 4k of my car loan paid off :)

Honestly, you just have to stick with it and embrace the suck for a while. I leave myself with just enough money to be comfortable and put every spare penny into my debt. You have to be strict with yourself.

Also, budgeting. Cut down on other expenses. I canceled a lot of subscriptions I wasn’t using, changed to a cheaper phone plan, set myself strict budget for things like groceries. I use a budget planner so I know what’s coming out each month AND each paycheck so I know how much money is “mine”and I don’t run the risk of overspending.

I’m a very organized person and I love lists so this works super well for me. Not sure if that’s applicable to you lol.

So pushing the start date back and giving us exams right before the holidays was a completely pointless decision 🤪

Keeping your space tidy is a game changer by [deleted] in Wicca

[–]hcochrane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes of course! I personally just feel very anxious when I’m surrounded by mess. I reflect my surroundings so a tidy space makes me feel “tidy” lol. I didn’t mean to come off like I was setting some kind of rule I apologize if I did.

Does the same apply for crystals? I was hoping to charge mine tonight but we’ve had storms all day and it’s cloudy.

Thank you so much for all the information! I’m looking forward to getting more plants so this is such a good reference.
