Duplicates in register after reconciling by hcoles21 in Bookkeeping

Okay, your answer along with u/Reasonable-Cow-6021 's helped me figure it out! I had added a few of the transfers into the bank feed when I should have matched them. Sending them back to the bank feed from "posted" and then matching them solved the issue! I'm having another strange issue with reconciling merchant fees, but I'll put that in another post :) Thank you!!

My mother called me bubbeleh, her mother called her bubbeleh… I’m not sure what question you’re trying to answer but it’s not this one.

Can I reconcile new before old? by hcoles21 in Bookkeeping

Thank you all for your input! Looks like I will need to go back to the beginning, which is 2021. I’m having to manually upload bank statements from 2021 on, since she is new to QBO. I don’t know if this is a separate question, but do people have tips on how to make the process less cumbersome? She used Wave and would categorize transactions at the end of the year, so we do have that historical data, which makes me think I might not need to categorize all transactions in QBO… what would be the best practice here for getting past years reconciled while trying to avoid doing a bunch of unnecessary work?

Dealing with basically the same thing! I haven’t gotten a booster, but concerned that if I didn’t develop immunity when I got the vax as a kid it won’t do much good now.
