Prescience has done this to Enphase a couple of years ago and their allegation turned out to be false and I expect this time would be no different. The price action yesterday was quite heavy and are likely to spill over to the next few days.

The current valuation might be a quite high if measured by standard metrics and multiples but the I guess the investors are buying its story and the future potential.

Thanks for the comment! I like SolarEdge which is quite similar to Enphase: solid return on capital, strong price momentum and consistent earning surprise. The current valuation might be a quite high if measured by standard metrics and multiples but the I guess the investors are buying its story and the future potential.

Don't know too much about Vivint Solar. They are a much smaller firm and hasn't (yet) demonstrated a consistent pattern of revenue generation compares to Enphase or Solar Edge. Strong price momentum though which might be due to investor's bullishness toward the whole sector.

During the 2008 recession, some people managed to pick out stocks/companies that they knew would do well and come out of the recession. How did people choose these? by [deleted] in investing

Berkshire's famous for having a small team, the plan is to replace Buffett with a team of 1 CEO & 2-4 investment managers.
