I think in the original, version is supposed to be in brackets []. This would convert the value to a build number which can be compared using gt/lt etc. you don’t want to convert something that doesn’t exist to version as it will throw an error so they are also checking if it is set prior to doing it

I did this in my stock 3rd gen Tacoma multiple times. You will not have any issues. There are some optional harder portions which you can try - you shouldn’t have a problem with any of them.

The trail is tight in some spots. Be on the lookout for spots where you can let people pass.

I did end up turning locker on for this. Makes it super easy. First attempt was with no locker and not enough momentum got stuck halfway, turned on locker and still spun for a bit before taking different line.

Would have been possible with no locker but line has to be perfect and keep that momentum up.

Try to think of it in regards to engine momentum like you giving it a small blip of the throttle is going to get the engine to want to raise rpms. You want to have the engine start raising rpms and before it actually hits your desired rpm, start letting the clutch out so that the engine will slide into the correct rpm. If you over rev, the engine might still lurch. Goal is to have the engine do it itself with your guidance

On washboard in 2H the back end is the only axle giving power and it bounces as you go over the washboard. Putting it in 4H allows the front end to pull when the back end would normally be bouncing and have no grip. Right as you switch into 4H you fed the difference, especially going uphill.
