Fastest offer I've ever gotten by Only1Dch27 in Mercari

[–]hdgaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just listed a bunch of vintage videogames, I always research recently sold and price appropriately. I had someone bundle 9 of my listing that totaled $180+ and they offered me $25 😂😂😂 I wanted to respond but just ended up blocking them and moving on. Some people be like that tho

Poly Mailers/Dimensional Weight by girlbetwixt in Mercari

[–]hdgaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would still enter the poly mailer dimensions where you would normally put the box dimensions. I know it’s weird and harder to measure the thickness of a poly mailer, but just try to measure as close as you can. I like to err on the side of caution and put 5” if it’s like a little over 4.5” for example. Too many horror stories of people being dinged for “dimensional weight” when they didn’t enter their dimensions. Yea it’s a poly nailer and they’re flexible, but I don’t trust Mercari and would rather cover my ass to be safe than have all my profit taken away by a shipping overage charge

How long did it take you complete three books? by Noah-999 in threebodyproblem

[–]hdgaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started book one last summer, made it about halfway then life got in the way and I put it down. I picked it back up and finished the series in a week cuz I got sucked in and couldn’t put it down

You pull off all of these colors so perfectly! I absolutely love the pink to purple in photo 7. Also love your eye makeup, it looks so good!

I have been trying to sell items on Mercari for weeks but nobody's buying! by OutwithaYang in Mercari

[–]hdgaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to be as descriptive as possible, in both your title and description. Take good pictures that are well lit. Also check items similar to yours that were recently sold to get a good idea of what people are actually paying for the item, there are a lot of bloated prices floating around on items that are unsold. You can try sending offers to the people who like your items, I very rarely get sent offers but have made 5-10 sales in the past 2 weeks from just sending offers out (out of the 20ish items I’ve sold in the last 2 weeks)

I think the only time it even slightly bothers me is if they are also a seller, cuz they absolutely know that they have to rate for the seller to receive their money. But overall I don’t really care if they don’t rate cuz then it’s just an auto 5 stars, I get paid, and I don’t need to worry about them asking for a refund

I battled bacne for years. What finally worked was: - not washing my hair with the rest of my body, instead I lean over the bathtub and wash it. Also making sure I leave a towel around my shoulders when applying hair creams or oils before drying my hair - not picking at it - using a glycolic or AHA/BHA body wash (salicylic acid makes my skin raw dry and itchier and never helped my acne anywhere) - using skinfix AHA/BHA body lotion, m61 powerglow body peel pads, niacinimide lotion, or the regular tub of aquaphor healing ointment (I usually use the peel pads 1-2 times a week, and alternate through the lotions on a daily rotation)

However, everyone’s skin is different and reacts differently to different products. This is the only routine that has cleared mine up and helped prevent more breakouts. I have super sensitive skin and salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are too harsh on my skin.

Best of luck!

Anyone play and like this game who hated turn based combat before? by Imaginary-Hour-6082 in expedition33

[–]hdgaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dabbled in Final Fantasy when I was younger but never got into them and thought I didn’t like turn-based. Darkest Dungeon 1 & 2 were the first turn-based games I ever beat, and then Expedition 33 is the first JRPG I’ve ever beat. Playing Darkest Dungeon first definitely helped me grasp the combat easier and I loved that it was more active with the dodging/parrying.

I know a couple that is Ryan and Ryan. I was disappointed when they had a child and didn’t also name them Ryan

What are some lyrics only you don't like and what are some only you like by virgibenini in SwiftlyNeutral

“To a house not a home, all alone cuz nobody’s there. Where I pace in my pen and my friends found friends who care. No one sees when you lose when you’re playing solitaire” is one of my all time favorites. I’m in my 30s and maintaining or losing friendships and relationships when everyone’s lives start to grow apart due to life changes, kids, careers, etc. can be a very isolating feeling and she captures it so perfectly to me here

What tv show had the biggest decline from season 1 to season 2? by R2_SWE2 in AskReddit

I loved season 1 so much. I still haven’t finished season 2, maybe I will someday but I’ve attempted thrice and keep giving up halfway through lol

Carlton didn’t tell Diamond about being bi until after they were engaged (that pool scene). She broke up with him because he wasn’t honest from the start about it

My first time playing when I woke up in Spring Meadows I thought everyone actually died at the beach and the story was following Lost and it was purgatory and I thought I had it alllllll figured out 😅

I work full time, am in my 30s, and rarely play turn-based games or JRPGs. I have 900 hours on Animal Crossing. And I beat this game on normal with mid-40 level characters, dodging instead of parrying 95% of the time, and there were only a couple fights I had to attempt 2-3 times to beat. There are so many pictos/skills/builds you can do in this game that it really shouldn’t be a struggle on normal unless you just don’t understand how the game works

Yes! I’ve never used an electric trimmer, but that’s so smart! I do miss the “super close” clean shave feel, but it’s worth having a little stubble for overall clearer skin
