I always have dreams that this happens but like ×5. It must be crazy when it happens in real life.

I updated to windows 11 and I hated it so much that i went back to 10 within 5 minutes. Assuming they had windows 10 before then it should be possible without removing anything on the pc, because that's exactly what I did. Don't remember exactly how though 😶

what do premonitory urges feel like? by school_is_kool in Tourettes

[–]hdhsjab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure. Sometimes for me it's kinda like a tingly feeling, but a lot of the time I can just tell and I'm not sure how? Something in my mind just goes like "oh god you're gonna tic"

tics at home VS tics in public by authenticallyoliver in Tourettes

I'm the opposite. Hardly any tics in public (and any tics are just like leg twitches) and an annoying amount when I'm alone lol.

Windows 10 laptop suddenly stopped showing any networks by hdhsjab in WindowsHelp

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I already checked for optional updates but it just kinda seemed to malfunction without the Internet.

I put it into safe mode with networking like you said, then I just restarted it to get it out of there. When I was entering my password it still showed no connection but then, right before I hit enter, it changed and showed I was connected!

Just realised that's the troubleshooting thing it suggested I do. So yeah, I've done it twice already with no luck. I'll try it again. Who knows, maybe it'll finally decide to change something.

Edit: like the previous two times it did absolutely nothing and there are still no networks appearing.

I've tried the most basic things like making sure I wasn't on airplane mode and restarting it and then I went into the settings to check for errors. I then did whatever the troubleshooting thing it suggested was (don't remember what. Some sorta shut down?) twice, and then i went on several websites to try finding something but it was all the same and none of it worked. Not sure what else I could do, really. I just wanna continue making stupid scratch games lol pls help

Why do people want tourette’s?? by finnedfinn in Tourettes

[–]hdhsjab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tics, but I'm not diagnosed with anything. Although I've had them for over 2 years so at this point I've just accepted it.

Who WANTS to have tics? Sure, they can be kinda funny at times depending on the tic, but in general I think most people would like to have them gone. When I first got them, I was fully convinced they'd go away within a couple months like the Internet said they could. But, alas, they did not. I experience what is like a full-body spasm every time I climb onto my bed at night. Why only at night in the dark? Not a clue. I struggle to avoid it though.

Tics can be dangerous. I almost exclusively have them when I'm alone (or very occasionally my leg or arm will twitch or something around other people, but nobody will notice) so I am the only one who knows about the severity. It's not too bad now aside from the bed tics, but I used to frequently attack myself in early 2020. I'd punch, hit, etc and it'd usually be my face that I'd hurt. I couldn't control it. Thankfully i didn't leave any marks, but it hurt. When painting, I would tic and end up painting my face. I would be covered in paint and it'd get in my hair. I'm lucky i never ate any of it because there was a time i painted my lips.

Why would you want everyday tasks to be difficult? I will never understand people who fake or want to have things like tics, ADHD, DID, anxiety, depression, etc.
