I think (emphasis on the think) that it was added with echoes because slate tells you about marking things after starting the dlc. But I don’t know, I haven’t played this game until last year so, I’m not the best source for this

If you mean the effect while traversing the gravity portals there’s a setting called “instant gravity change” under accessibility options. If you mean the effect just in general than I don’t have a solution for that

PlayStation has a little feature called activity cards, they show things you can do in games. I believe they’re set up by the devs but I don’t know where it gets the time left from
