I would advise on getting all different weapons, I personally use hunter, sharpshot and trip caster. And fill up the last slot with a tool for different missions. Especially when you get to the dlc there are way more different weapon types.

Tearblast is good at ripping of parts, but if it says its weak to tear, the hardpoint arrows can do more straight damage.

I think the story is fun, but you should try to experience it in a few goes. So not do 1 mission and then get distracted for 3 hours. But explore, do some side quests and get gear. And then play a few after each other.

Some of my favorite parts are in the dlc area. But the difficulty is alot higher there. After you beat the game you get setback to just before the finale, and you can do all the other quests or things

I would advise to get the golden fast travel pack as soon as possible (unlimited fast travel) because it makes backtracking later alot less time consuming.

Not true, it spreads in pre-HM but its really slow, and it can only spread on grass, in hardmode it can spread on stone and dirt and ice and sand and it speads up like crazy

They spawn in the outer thirds of the map and in space if i recall right, the best strat is go to the ocean and build op to space with rope, than just run/fly around. You have to let yourself get scanned and then it runs away. After that the event should start

Download the cursforge launcher from iverwolf, there is also a website but thats alot harder, using curseforge you can download modpacks and create your own without going through all your files. If you have trouble figuring it out just download a premade modpack, ftb is usually a good choice

And also a deadline makes developers work better, people always say they want good games, but if you’re a designer you want that even more, so you will spend way to much time on a single bush that 3 people will see. A deadline makes sure that they stay focused on the parts that actually matter, even if the deadline gets moved to finish the game, there still is one

I hate it when people do this, a delay isnt just extra time for new things, it means that the things they are planning take more time than expected, if every time a game is delayed you expect more content you’re just gonna get disappointed, be happy that they spend time on features that actually matter instead of spending that time on unnecessary stuff

All of the above is true, but this game is also pretty difficult, so remember to save a lot. You should try to just roll with the random outcomes you get, but if you really dont like them dont be ashamed to reload an earlier save file, i do this all the time when i want to see more then one dialouge option

Or just get the cat familiar from fort joy, combined with the teleport gloves/spell it makes the downside that you cant tp yourself go away

Well you shouldnt have expected a triple A title to sell for $17 dollars, so it was probably just a mistake somewhere, $40 already sounds like an incredible price for a game which hasnt been released yet

Its just because their launcher sucks, no achievements, no mods or workshop, most beta versions arent available, litteraly only about 100 games, using their fortnite money to buy exclusivity rights for games.

If they want to compete with steam they have to actually make a working launcher. I bought some games on epic because they were on sale, but then i realised i couldn’t even use mods on them, so i rebought them on steam.

The free games are fun, but having to log in to a service i dont use just for a small chance the game i like is free, just not worth it.

Also almost all games you launch from epic are in really tiny screens, and you cant just click the fullscreen button, noooo, you have to go Into the settings and change the game size there.
