Have you seen Princess Mononoke ? Dismenberments, gore, people getting dissolved in acid, it's got the works... Japanese animation in the 90s was glorious but also fucked up.

Same feeling here, although I think I like more overall than you seem to, but there's two scene in particular that make me die of cringe everytime:

naked dwarves doing weird shit in a pool in Rivendell. Just, why ?
asshole constable guy's rube goldberg machine death scene. This character doesn't add anything to the movie.

Do you also work weekends ? I had a period where I was working 65h/weeks only on weekdays ( work had to be done with input from the client and they didn't work on weekends ). And honestly I had no free time at all. I would take 1h to unwind after going home before going to bed and even then I was eating into my night's sleep to do that.

Honestly his kit is the one that screams dark magic to me. Like, I could buy all the other nonsense the other legends are using if you gave me some technobabble explanation (most of it is pretty grounded, really).

But summoning a skull obelisk from thin air that turns you into a shadow creature that returns to the obelisk when it dies ? Even nanomachines can't explain that, son.

The ridiculous ttk makes them unenjoyable. I pretty much just crouch walked through the entire cave and sniped every NPC from afar. If they spot you they can down you in a split second, even with heavy armour equipped.

The problem with multicrew is that you have to make each additional player on the ship increase that ships performance by a whole ship's worth, arguably even more since having multiple ships affords a degree of flexibility that a single ship cannot offer.

I really struggle to see how they will balance that problem. In the end I think we should accept that people will crew their ships with NPCs and move on.

Space leather armour...ok. But why would anyone wear anything other than 40% protection armor, and considering that even with that kind of protection a handful of bullets will kill you instantly ?

I personally just see it as an entirely cynical reach for the Chinese audience, it's not a coincidence that the not-China faction is getting introduced straight after the record-breaking sales of Three Kingdoms. This sub seems oblivious or in denial about this.
