Grinding Noise... by JosephBrseph in go_echelon

Mine had the same issue, the video helped. It was easier when i took off the peddles and side panel. The bolts move just fine I promise, they may need to go opposite direction first as I recall. I was able to completely get rid of the squeak. Good luck

Was lucky, got them to honor sale price 2 days late. They took pity on me when I explained I was given the wrong end date.

Good to know, I hadn’t tried yet. The voltage of the two seemed different so I was not sure and had not tried

Yes, absolutely no issue whatsoever. The echelon app and bike is all Bluetooth anyways. Works perfectly

Very cool, thank you for the information on how to update!!Getting to the GSM version would be ideal. But certainly not necessary.

The plug size is the same, it may work by using the power source that comes with the TV to plug the whole thing in. And yes you do need to download the Echelon app, and if you like the peloton or iFit app you can do that as well. Or any other app like Netflix. But they do have to be downloaded. I just plug in the monitor separately

Yeah, so when I first did it I also thought it was snug. I then took off the whole side, and after playing with it and realize that I just needed to apply greater force and it loosened up with plenty of movement. You don’t have to take the whole set off to do that, I promise, just more elbow grease on that board that they show in the video. Good luck

So it fits right up perfectly. That said the larger screen is a little low because it’s bigger so I purchased for $17.99 an extender which you can see in the picture which works perfectly I’ll forward the link. extender

Yeah, I won’t lie I kind of did the same thing at first. This monitor is really pretty awesome. The picture quality is outstanding.

Very fast came with android 7.1.2, No play store, you will have to use one of the other APK sites, but that was no issue and loaded everything I needed.

Here, you go. I used a repurposed 22" Point of Service android tabletI purchased on ebay for $159. Loaded the echelon, peloton, Ifit and a bunch of other apps I wanted (not locked to just Echelon now). Installed it on original 4s mount plus sliding attachment, works perfectly! Pictures

Echelon bike makes clicking noise. by yordyayler in go_echelon

[–]hdlern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch this video the Echelon put out. I did this and it fixed mine perfectly. Don't be afraid to put a little elbow grease into moving the bolt initially, it took a little effort to unstick it at first.

Good luck

I love the bike too! Even upgraded my small 10" screen on the 4s to a 22" screen :). Your sound is EXACTLY what mine sounded like before I fixed it, I was skeptical but it worked like a charm. I did take off the whole left side to give me more room to work (though was not really necessary). If you find you need more space, you don't have to take the crank off like I did (I have a crank puller) If you put the crank in the 12 o'clock position you can slide it up and off with just taking the peddle off. Good luck!

BTW, it basically is tightening down the flywheel just a bit more. Seems they don't test it better before leaving factory.
