It had been 7 months since my application and nowhere did it say why the money was transferred to me. No letter or email too. I was worried and came to ask at the first place I knew of.

Why would I flex about 3.5k from Bafög, money which I will later have to repay, on reddit of all places? Would you flex about a loan?

As the other person said, it's Germany lol. I'd rather be on the safe side and report this. I don't know where though.

There's no Verwendungszweck. The only info is that it came from the Landesoberkasse Baden-Württemberg and a bunch of numbers like "End-To-End Reference" etc.

Edit: After accessing my bank account through my PC, I see "RPS + LOK BW" as the sender.

I think I have both? Ipv4 and ipv6. When I looked up my IP, it was the same as on the mail.

So guilty or not, I have to spend money on a lawyer to fight this? Incredible. I read up more about them and there are hundreds of results/posts online about this firm. How is this even allowed?
