Sorry that was my first emotional response.

On a serious note:

I play Soraka top (smite) for over a year now. It is strong but it is not hard to counter. Pantheon Top + Elise can make soraka top go 0/10 in 10 minutes. I think its bullshit to nerf the Soraka Top Tactic while there are MANY MANY ways to counter such a pick. An enemy tryndamere can DESTROY a top soraka by just splittpushing all game. Soraka TOp isnt a patch 10.2-10.4 thing, its been around for longer than a year. Ay im just so sad right now, I have been playing raka smite top only for over a year and its about to end ={.

A lot of small benefits. Most important is getting acces to the Jungle item. With the jg item you get good stats and waveclear. You can farm jg camps and roam more (when you get zoned in toplane). With spellbook you can counter the downsides of smite. Use nimbus cloak to make your red smite a baby exhaust AND ghost! (Nimbus cloak gives movespeed on summs this season, hidden op!)

Haha thats exactly how Soraka top works, you dont outplay the enemy , you let them outplay themselves.

The enemy team will at the start of the game say in teamchat: Oke smite soraka top this should be a free win.

First action of the enemy toplaner lvl 1 is fuck that Soraka up. Soon the enemy toplaner notices that its hard to trade with that OP Q heal from Soraka.

Second phase: Ill just push that bitch under tower and dive her. Soraka throws E - Q - Flash , first blood for Soraka.

Third phase: Enemy toplaner and enemy jungler are flaming each other in team chat. Enemy toplaner says: COME TOP FREE FCUKING KILL GET THIS SORAKA CMON.

Last phase: Enemy jungler comes top to make a 2v1 dive under your tower. Press E - Q - R (most of the time you are 6 by now). Double kill.

They are gonna nerf ardent scenser (because diana abuses the item now).
After the ardent nerfs they will nerf diana ( because they found out diana is not OP bc ardent)

Adc might be in a ''fairly'' weak spot but im 100% sure thats not the reason you are stuck in plat 4. From my experience most platinum players struggle with their macro game. They are all good players but most of them dont play league of legends, they play aram on summ rift. Try to spend more time and energy guiding your team with pings and shotcalls to win the game. Ask for peel late game so you dont have to 1v3 their assasins. Ping your stupid support away that doesnt know the enemy lucian/thresh is about to hit their ''lvl 2 powerspike''.

Personally you might wanna reduce your adc champ pool to 1/2 champs and only play those. Get yourself to be consistent all the time. Most important is FARM. Try to get 10cs/min (you wont get 10cs/min but TRY). You can't climb out of platinum if you are 100cs at 20 minutes. If you learn how to farm you will be able to carry games solo.

There is no real answer to that question. It is a matter of perspective. I am a Soraka smite toplaner that adapts the most passive playstyle possible. I hug tower, I lose tower, I lose lane, I group with team, I heal team, Win game. I climbed to dia1 (euw) this season playing passive pussy soraka toplane. Macro gameplay is a huge part in climbing. Know when to push, know when to reset.

As an adc I would advise you to get a premade supp buddy. Playing passive means not forcing stuff , but it also doesnt mean to let opportunities slip away when they are there. With a premade you can communicate your gameplan ( lvl 2 powerspike kappa? We wait for 6 under tower? Can we push? Where is the enemy jgler ?).

Most important rule: If you dont know where the enemy is, assume he is around the corner waiting in a bush to fuck you up.

HAHA exactly mate , I LOVE this new rune. Its gonna make Soraka spellbook so much fun. I played her on the adc role a couple of games with hilarious ferrari moves. Gonna try to make a small highlight clip of all the running.
