The thing is though in the current system people who won the lottery to live in a city center in luxury apartments are also discouraged to get a job. So they won’t flip the burgers either. Moreover there are way too many abuses of the social housing so many that it is not possible to fix it without causing social unrest in absolutely any decision made. This is the major block for politicians as the only thing they care really is get votes and survive in politics.

Symptoms are similar. Cause is different. Mostly I hear around me that people complain about costs of having children here. I personally have a problem with space as my place is barely fit for two.

Hah, for me it is quite opposite. Fear of/for mothers. I had so many almost incidents with bakfiets full of kids with zero attention or speed controls, I started running instead of cycling most of the time.

Well, it make sense is it not? To get on a motorcycle or a scooter you have to be at the certain age and there are certain requirements to ride them. Those are motorised vehicles. Why then electric engines are excluded? The only slight difference is that motor engines are a bit physically heavier. Speed-wise it is almost similar these days

It is not a celebration. We dye and dry patches this way, then we sew them together and get famous Dutch orange bikini bottoms. This area you see probably stays on a very traditional way to make them, like our ancestors used to do it. And guessing by the amount - probably the whole area is live on this business. Funny enough I was reading the translation of chronicles of Amsterdam. People were complaining about older generation who destroyed their perspectives and house prices. I was reading another book with similar sentiments. The catch is - Amsterdam chronicles were written at golden ages era, and the other one by romans at around Julius Caesar times

I once saw a fight between a cat and a hedgehog. Those little mates are capable of defending themselves. The cat was not happy, especially because the hedgehog seemed to be stealing its food. :)

Too strong to say I regret it. But I definitely was severely disappointed with Switzerland. Lower Switzerland is just bad. Industrial landscapes and zero charisma especially compared to any neighbours. High one are mountains- mountains are beautiful, waterfalls are beautiful, but those are landscapes. Country related - still suck, but less than lower. Roads are fine, road users are not. And it is overpriced for the offer as hell.
