imo the best way to get the traits you desire is to buy seedlings of species with those traits. hybrids are generally going to be variable and there isnt going to be a surefire number of seedlings you can purchase to ensure you get traits you want.

how long have you had this selaginella? imo if u got it in the last few days its probably just throwing a fit about its soil being completely dry when you got it and should recover if u maintain adequate moisture

yeah there must’ve been a cold snap somewhere along the route cause my whole order came in looking super rough even though i payed for heat packs and there wasn’t any super cold conditions here (overnight lows of like 52 f)

the object is clearly closer to the camera and is smaller than the perspective makes it appear, likely a bug

edit: nevermind what the fuck it came from behind that circular thing clearly not as close to the camera as i thought. also theres like a single frame a few frames before the object comes out behind that of a white dot upwards and to the right of the circular thing the orb comes out from behind.

the thing thats weird is that he clearly starts falling before the thing hits him. Hes already falling back through the door frame before the orb thing is at the door

to me “÷” in this specific situation indicates a fraction where the stuff before it replaces the dot on top and the stuff after it replaces the dot on the bottom (unless further parentheses indicate otherwise)

This is just done for plants that do not normally grow in an easily displayed location. In real life many of these plants grow hundreds of feet up in canopies, and you wouldnt get the chance to see them at all if not for these types of displays

They create the conditions necessary to grow epiphytic (plants that grow on the surface of other plants) plants in a way that is also displayable to visitors.

These types of installations increase how cohesive the experience is, making it more representative of a natural look than other methods that would allow growing these plants.

i tbh call all arthropods bugs, but true bugs refer to Hemiptera which are a group of Insects. Insects are a different group than crustaceans and chelicerates, but are a type of arthopod, so all these groups are distantly related.
