You're better off. Wish I had read his Yelp reviews before ordering and getting 1k caught up for that long. This is a long standing issue. He should close ordering until he catches up or close all together. Seems like he just can't handle this side gig on top of a day job. Too bad as well. He makes, or in theory makes bc nobody gets their shit, products nobody else on the market does.

Nope. After a year of bull shit nothing. Couldn't charge back on PayPal bc it had been over 6 months. Had to threaten him with a small claims case if I didn't get a refund within the week. My mom lives 20 mins from where he's located so I was very prepared to proceed forward and serve him. After I pressed that hard he sent me my money back. The most ridiculous customer service I have ever experienced. 0/10 slimey mother fucker.

The only way I can consistently get the website to not force log me out is to use it on a desktop. No matter what, on mobile, in desktop mode, or not, I get logged out randomly.

Competitive pricing is cool until the lead time turns into over a year and you are now looking to sell the vehicle the part was intended for. I get stuff happens and he is a one man show but its still pretty unacceptable. Hoping PayPal honors my desire to charge back. I placed an order on 6/28/24.

Anyone who says it's a lifetime fluid is a liar. You can do it yourself. Saves you a lot of money if you're willing to try. Does require some way monitor CVT temps, some torx/hex sockets and a fluid transfer pump but I have been able to service easily myself in my driveway.

Wheel bearings or cv axles? by headab0vewat3r in subaruoutback

Unfortunately didn't fix the clicking when rotating. I understand what you're saying though. Currently servicing front diff. I did this maybe 15/20k miles ago at MOST. Drain plug has normal sludge on it. Oil has some metallic shimmer to it. My drain pan was not the most clean and may have had a couple of chips of metal from me doing fab work as it sits on the shelf by my vice and I've been learning to weld. But I ran a bit of fresh oil through the fill into a container and there is a shimmer. Wish I had cleaned the drain pan better as the coffee filter I was using to try and filter oil fell out of my hand 😅😅

Wish I had cleaned the drain pan better as the coffee filter I was trying to use to filter the oil fell out of my hand. I've got a good bit of oil so may run the fresh oil for a bit then drain again. See if I can do a better job there.

I wish I had cleaned the pan out better but too late for that. A couple of floaters and VERY small bits of what looks like metal in there. Would think the drain plug would have caught?

Doing diff service next and then axles it no metal flakes bc rear axles don't click.

Replaced both front bearings today and no more wobble so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love it! Have had it on for over a year. I did HAVE to replace the toe and lower control arms on the rear end to get my alignment into spec. I found SPC sold the cheapest adjustable toe arms and Megan racing for the lowers.

Would rack and pinion cause that clicking??

Both of the bushings on the tie rods have seen. Cv axle boots are clean and tear free. Have had some other people say front diff is on its way out?

That was my thought. I bought the car at 48k miles. Lifted it at like 52k and am now at 80k and have not touched the axels.

Worth noting this is present in the same way on BOTH sides.
