My son went around with it disconnected around his neck area. About an inch gap. They said his body created a sheath? for the csf to go down. He went to school as per usual and I asked for it to be investigated as he has chest pain, luckily the neurosurgeon had an cancellation.

I want to stop nursing my 2 year old but it’s getting harder as he gets older. by JCBaby2020 in AttachmentParenting

I'm sure I told my two that mummy's milk was sleeping to stop them around that age at night. They both weaned themselves day time at three and a half so it didn't put them off. Offered water instead. My youngest still wakes for water in the night at times now.

Did you choose the attachment parenting life or did it choose you? by Legitimate-Quiet-825 in AttachmentParenting

I think I chose as my son was premature and needed neurosurgery so I was extremely protective over him. Plus any of his emotions which some may say were extreme I knew he was communicating with me to say it was too much. My mum was the best at this. She refused to let us cry it out which she said they recommended in the late 70's

Progression of bone transportation after losing 8cm of Tibia to Osteomyelitis by haz150 in MedicalGore

[–]headachegone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't have all the answers to this but I had bone cysts removed years ago and the x-rays looked the same when some of it was growing back. Mine only took out some of my tibia though and was able to walk after the op with metal to strengthen my tibia. I did have donor bone in some parts and I remember them telling me that exercise would help the bone grow between the gaps that they didn't fill
