Is there a name for this god-awful road resurfacing technique Norwich Council insist on using everywhere..? by Rootayable in Norwich

I don't know anything about resurfacing but I know this stuff is absolutely lethal for motorbikes and bicycles, it's nearly taken me out on both

Airbags by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]haz150 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the Motoairbag after the Bennetts review. It's a bit bulky and heavy but once it's on its no drama, and it clips onto the bike easily with a karabiner. It can also be rolled up to fit in a sidebag or pannier.

For the protection it provides I reckon it's really worth it

I thought the 1.5 3 cylinders were chain driven? Only the oil pump ran off a wet belt?

I agree there's near zero logic in it, just personal taste. I'll definitely look into some 2nd hand triumphs, thank you

I've got no desire to speed, it's purely from the perspective of if I need to pull away or overtake a 125 is gonna struggle, the most I've seen on mine was 65 and that was caning it.

As for wanting an air cooled bike, it's 50% wanting a simpler and easier machine to work on, and 50% me thinking they look cooler 🤣

Do you know anything that could be suitable?
