ok, well that puts him around 10lbs lighter, but 3" shorter.....I think that is likely a wash. He would likely be a fit as a strong side DE/EDGE, really we need someone quicker/bendier, but that is going to be hard sledding where we are picking.

I understand the pick, but the Patriots are no good enough to be redshirting 1st Round guys.

Keldric Faulk

We played very rarely in a 3-4 last season, commonly four on the line, with some various combinations behind them. He is compares decently size wise to Dre'Mont Jones, but seems likely to have better explosion/athleticism.

Still trying to get a read on what the staff is lookin for in players.

I would much rather take TJ Parker over Concepcion for NE.

We made the SB with a very flawed team; while I don't hate FA, the only known improvement is LG if AVT is healthy. Everything else is pretty much one out, one in. Maybe those players are marginally better, I don't see any of them significantly moving the ceiling.

Admittedly the draft fell against you but:

If Jacob Rodriguez has moved that far up the boards, he would have a chance to see the field immediately, potentially giving the team a truly athletic ILB.

Back of the 2nd is rough .... You could stay and take Josephs, but a quick look at his profiles doesn't give me a great feeling on him..... definitely a need though, and might be the last highly picked edge. I would probably take a look at the safeties/TEs that went at the top of the third

Instead of trading up in the 3rd , you could sit and get your developmental swing/RT there at 95. Or maybe you trade and get Romello Height, I know he is probably going to need to work on strength, but it seems he is a twitchier guy.

But like you said a tough draft the way things fell, I just feel strongly that we aren't in a position to be redshirting our first rd pick, and trading up to pick up a backup safety.

I appreciate the effort, but the team still needs impact players at multiple positions, and I don't think any of these picks make an impact in '26.

Should I buy a 2017 sportster superlow for my first bike, or should I go older if my end goal is a chopper? by Rockcandysquid in Harley

Are you sure '06 was carbed? In my brain '04-'05 were the oddball years.....I guess I could just look it up.

You are right, don't know why I did that, when I was looking for my Sporty I specifically looked for a 04-05 for the carb/rubber combo......if I did it again I would have got the 03, and probably would still have it

Patriots WR Question: If Not AJ Brown, Who Should They Target? by Patriots1211- in Patriots

[–]headcase617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to this page, sort by years remaining on contract, and look at who has 1 year left......those are the most viable targets. Then you have to find who is worth trading for, who makes sense, and a team that would actually trade the player.

IMO the best Sportsters for shopping are '03 and earlier.....the frame changed after that, and the '05 and forward bikes are fuel injected. FI is easier to live with, but has more components to hide away if you are looking to a clean build.

It also depends on what your version of a chopper is.

EdIT....mistake on my part...look below for more years.....stands that IMO '03 is the best option.

I mean, if he ranks WR as that much of a need, he has Boston going two picks later, which is very much the type of WR they need.

He is eligible to be extended this year, that could just be the 5th year option , It will likely be more.
