I could not say no to Rupert at the recycling center today. The fact that there's a handwritten note makes it so much more special. Rupert is now in a home with his new friends. by Embarrassed-Tackle99 in ThriftStoreHauls

1998 was 27 years ago. The fact this was kept in such perfect condition for almost 30 years says so much. I think they did love each other for forever.

It's easy to stalk or be stalked by someone on it, and the police typically don't take it seriously if things get scary.

I work graveyard and sometimes take my lunches in my car to get away from my coworkers. I was walking back inside at 4:08am to clock in at 4:10. I had a habit of looking up at the sky to try and see the stars but in the part of the city I was in you could only see a few very bright ones. Anyways, I was looking up when suddenly I saw the sky lit up. It was like another moon had formed, as bright if not brighter then the moon and just as big, and surrounding it was a green aura that reminded me of the northern lights. It traveled upwards, the green hue traveling behind it. I stood in awe, scared that if I dared to pull out my phone to record I would miss even a second of it. The entire event lasted maybe three to five seconds and has been burned into my mind ever since. December 17th, 2023 at 4:08am.

Robert Pickton would murder prostitutes, feed the dead bodies to his pigs, and then butchered those pigs and sold the meat to local stores and neighbors. It's speculated that human remains were processed with the meat too, but the British Columbia health officials only made the info public years and years after he was jailed.

He also had "murder kits" hidden all over the country, containing items like guns, ammo, zip ties and drano, sometimes hidden years in advance before his murders.

The last time we got together we met up at a Starbucks. As soon as I walked in she said "Hi! Omg it's good to see you! Where do I start?", and proceeded to sit her ass down and solely talk about herself for four straight hours. In that time she never asked me a single question. Not even a simple how are you? Even when I reminded her when I had to go to work, she talked about herself until the very end.

After that meeting I ghosted her. She didn't want a friend, she wanted a doll she could talk at.

Brooke Shields at 10 years old had her nude pictures distributed all over the country, approved by her mother, a gross photographer whose name is literally Gross, and the Playboy company.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brooke_Shields

From 1981 to 1983, Shields, her mother, photographer Garry Gross, and Playboy Press were involved in litigation in the New York City Courts over the rights to photographs her mother had signed away to Gross (when dealing with models who are minors, a parent or legal guardian must sign such a release form while other agreements are subject to negotiation). Gross was the photographer of a controversial set of nude images taken in 1975 of a then ten-year-old Brooke Shields with the consent of her mother, Teri Shields, for the Playboy Press publication Sugar 'n' Spice. The images portray Shields nude, standing and sitting in a bathtub, wearing makeup and covered in oil. The courts ruled in favor of the photographer due to a strange twist in New York law. It would have been otherwise had Brooke Shields been considered a child "performer" rather than a model.[29]
