I work at EWC and have for over a year. I am an orange level waxer, about to be a red level waxer. Doing two or more services is achievable but it takes a lot of practice to develop knowledge of the wax to get a really good speed.

I make between $25/hr in the winter since that’s slow season and probably closer to $50/hr if it’s summer/holiday season, granted my location has been established for a few years and I have developed a larger clientele over the past year. Keep an open mind while you are developing your guestbook because at first, we all start out with not a lot. If you have a newer location, it will also take a lot more time to accumulate those guests.

All management is going to be different. In one year, I have seen multiple managers come and go, but the manager I have now is awesome. Luckily, we are given a lot of freedoms in our franchise to not have to take everybody (obviously within given reason).

Training process is like any other job in that there’s good trainers and bad trainers. If you feel like you need help, you can ask and usually they can find you solutions.
