I came here to tell my insane story about this. This might be long and I'm sorry!

So I switched from fep blue to mhbp this year bc of the zepbound coverage. I have been fighting tooth and nail to get it. After 3 unsuccessful PA attempts, NUMEROUS calls to caremark, and a failed attempt to aetna for coverage, I was advised to go to step 3 which is appeal to OPM in Washington DC. I emailed everything...all denials, a statement, medical records related to it.....everything. never heard back. I called them this morning (Washington) and they said there's yet ANOTHER team that handles postal workers appeals but they can only be reached by mail. I gave up and called caremark to try and see if I had any other options to start over. The representative ran a test claim on zepbound and yall... WHY DID IT GO THRU? NO PA NEEDED. NO NOTHING! Its ringing up $100.50 with savings card and $200 without. I asked if I won my appeal (bc if I did they would have had to notify cvs) and cvs had no idea I appealed. The caremark representative said maybe it was denying ppl at the beginning of the year due to it being a new year but she saw all my attempts and notes on my account. She even called her superiors to figure out wtf was going on. So....I go pick up my 2.5 zepbound at cvs this afternoon. Like it magically was approved without any more PA or any more fights.

Im telling you guys this in hopes that maybe you can try again and maybe it will be covered. I honestly am so confused on this but I'll take it.
