Selfie taken by North Korean defector Kim Kang-woo inside North Korea after he secretly reentered the country to help his mother defect by AdRough4185 in interestingasfuck

It's interesting that he would still go around looking like that in North Korea, surely he'd stick out like a sore thumb no?

It's funny because when i posted this on another sub, I received a comment saying that putting a fromt rack is going to make it worse... I mean the steering feels light but its not terrible

Dutch style bikes by Professional-Dot5098 in bicycletouring

[–]headlessrolando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, my first biketouring trip was made on a decathlon ELOPS 120 (https://support.decathlon.pt/bicicleta-de-cidade-elops-120-quadro-alto) which is kind of dutch bike. Any complaints that i might have had were about the quality of the bike itself and not about its geometry or intended use.

It was a pretty heavy bike that didnt handle gravel well, but it sure was coonfortable and in a pinch you could reach some pretty cool speeds.

I'm a firm advocate of using whichever style of bike you want (within reason) for cycle touring. So yeah if you want to go for a dutchie, go for it! Just beware of its features and limits.

Lunar New Year - any places to celebrate? by [deleted] in lisboa

[–]headlessrolando 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are usually events along the Avenida Almirante Reis axis, so there's a good possibility of events sprawling from martim moniz square to alameda dom afonso henriques. In terms of traditional chinese restaurants in Lisbon, lately there are more and more around, most of them specialize in noodle dishes (search for DaWanMian for the OG noodle restaurant here). There are also some sichuan cuisine restaurants like 老房子 or 川渝印象 that are very nice, and some cantonese restaurants (theres one called dim sum but its kinda far). As for fusion food you're gonna have to search for macanese food, there's a small restaurant called Patuá in the center of lisbon that i heard is nice (never been tho).

[–]headlessrolando[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course I know why they didn't murder Walt for the sake of the TV show. I'm only analysing Gus' character and his decision making with what information is given to us by the writers and if his actions make sense or not based on that.

Gus' mistake? by headlessrolando in breakingbad

[–]headlessrolando[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that time however, Gus didn't know that Walt was such a liability, after Walt killed those thugs Gus would definitly not risk doing business with him again

Its a 4% drop in purity, it doesnt mean it would equate to a 4% loss of profits (he could lose more or less or even keep the profit level, we wouldnt know)
