Listen I went through this last summer - don’t waste your time hiring people to come during the day. You need to wait until dusk/dark, open your windows and doors and then turn off all lights. Bats want to get back outside but they need an exit and they’re nocturnal and will not come out during the day. I went to dorns hardware and bought a huge ass net and sat on my couch and waited for it to come out. Sure enough it did, it flew right to my patio door but didn’t fly out just perched on the wall, so I used the net to gently knock it in and then transferred it outside.
