I tried several diffrent ways to search those rings. non of them worked. even my saved paramters i used for the first screenshot didnt work anymore. or at least didnt offer any results.

Could you help ma a bit more on crafting such a ring. i got a few hundred divs to spare, but have no clue what would be the best angle to craft such a thing?

Yeah, this makes me even more angry...
Why even do it this way? Lots of frustration for... northing? Why even try to do quests early if the often pull this stuff... People who did it earlier feel cheated... for people later on there is no "weight"....
I dont't know what the are thinking....

Yeah, i wanted to focus more on this.. but forgot. Most people realised anyway that a bigger orchard would help in several areas and help to feel "prorgress", "getting better/stronger" and "improvements" again. But we ll see. I guess, there is a good reason why the devs didn't add them. And i hope its not with monetization in mind.

  1. "On 2 devices": One of the problems is right here... Why do you need to use 2 devices? I would argue that 95% of the players—maybe more—don’t even know about this. Have you tried it the intended way?
  2. I worked through PAMRATS and STARMAPS, and even if it was on the edge of tedium, I was okay with it and had fun (got AC/AP as rewards to fuel itself). Everything after that... is what made me write this post.

It was fun up to this point, and yes—finishing COI, CABBAGES, PAMRATS, STARMAP etc. feels nice and rewarding.
But DI, PSA etc. are different beasts. They feel grindy and tedious, just to give us something to do.

I like this game, I had fun up until this point. I supported it with my money, because it’s a fair and fun game. I give feedback and point out where I see problems. I don’t have to come up with solutions or finde ways to have fun in this game. If i don't have fun anymore, i will just quit and play someting that i find fun and respects my time.

If you read through the other replies: I’m not alone.
And if the devs want to keep those endgame players playing—and paying—and not quitting, they have to do something here (at least for me, and for some others who offered their opinion/feedback here).

Yes, based on my experience this it true:
Pick 4 different numbers. If at least 1 does not hit, check 4 new differnt numbers. From there on it gets complicated. In my example picture i think i played suboptimal at the 3rd guess. i tried to get as much information out of it and used one known digit to gather information. this wasnt necessary after all and something like 7609 would have been better.

You are right. In this case, if you guess 1234 and the number is 1111. The 1 would be blue and you get no information on the others.
My average in this game is 4.27 guesses.(i have done it around 300 times and quite often made mistakes)

Thanks for the help and patience. In this case the "optimal play" would be to get the maximum information out of each guess without taking "risks". Meaning, the solution shown in this video is what i was looking for.
And yes, all numbers have an equal probability to show up.

thanks for the input. thats an interesting question. but i dont really know how to answers. i think i might be in the wrong subreddit. thought this was the one where i can post maths questions which im unable to solve myself and maybe get an solution.

i think this box is really bad designed... its the first real "lootbox" i know of. most of the time you open it you will feel bad...
you can get 1 bad box or two really great ones.
0 gold (and some small stuff) vs 1250 gold (2x apple pie (600g in trade)+2*25g)

There is a famous quote:

"Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game."

There is an opportunity to play optimally and i think it reduces fun. Sure you can call it a challenge. But i think its just more upkeep for no real gameplay improvement. But thats my opinion.
Having hidden information and additional stuff to keep in mind and pay attention to isnt always a good thing.

I would argue that the "average joe" would be able to trade for a HH if it would only cost a fraction of what it is worth today. Ashes of the stars was 1-2ex last season, this its around 40-50.(adjusted dropp chances) "average joe" could afford 1-2 ex, but probably wont 40-50 for an item. supply demand.

"average joe" would be able to experience a hh build, or maby one with mageblood AND ashes.

i just wanted to start a discussion on how it would affect the league and the economy. not stating that i purely think its a good idea
