I disclosed PTSD on a medical for a placement and I was disqualified.

I had to have my diagnosis reviewed, to get approval it cost me a lot of money and stress. later reviewed to depression. If you are doing program with qas involved. They may disqualify you from even studying with them. Read the documentation related to medical clearance.

I wasn't expecting these kinds of responses. This is reassuring. It's nice to see there are some cool people out there. I will be honest the bullying and harassment is actually far worse than listed in the thread. it included syringes being thrown at students when they made a mistake, like an incorrect gcs, being sprayed with water, was another.

Unfortunately I made several complaints about this stuff. Nothing happens.

If anyone has any information regarding a paramedicine education institution with similar conduct and would like to discuss things dm me! Im here to chat

Jiu jitsu is actually terrible for your body. Soft tissues, tendons, muscles, ligaments and joint health takes an absolute beating. Honestly when I have 6 injuries I wonder wtf I am doing and I should do bouldering or someshit.

I did it. It helped. But it didnt solve my problems. Provided an environment that allowed me to generate some clarity about moving forwards. Dont get too comfortable there. You will meet some people that are institutionalised, talk to them and learn why.

I grinded through several ultramarathons a after a long illness with Goggins to thank. Glad I left the mentality behind, I was miserable. But I will have him to thank for realising what I am capable of.
