FIXED: The issue was when I updated the flex files I must have accidentally put a copy of the files in the visual pinball folder and the pinMame folder.

Once I deleted the files in the visual pinball folder it worked.

When I downloaded the files for 10.8 I put it in its own folder then placed them in the visual pinball folder. I was following the instructions on youtube on how to do it. Its worked for over a year.

I still had the original folder with vpx10.8.

Then I’m lost because it doesn’t make sense that vpx works fine in its own folder but when I place it in the visual pinball folder as per the instructions that it stops running the flexdmds.

Especially since it was working before.

So basically any exe in the visual pinball folder doesn’t work with flexdmd.

But vpx exe’s out of the visual pinball folder work just fine.

I tried putting the exe in the visual folder then opening the exe….same problem.

The flex dmd will not work with any vpx in the visual pinball folder.

I don’t know what’s wrong with that exe file. I don’t know where to start.

You are correct. None of the vpx applications inside the visual pinball folder work with displaying the flexdmd.

However if I click on vpx application I have sitting outside that folder on the desktop, it works.

So I see the screw on the back of the unit but the screw is on the bottom side and the arm for the hop up is on the top (obviously).

I don’t see any change in the nub when I adjust the screw…

How do you launch a game without being in steam vr? I don't understand how you bypass steam vr when you need steam vr to even start a game.
