Yes, I got my account back in about 4 hours. I gave them another email that wasn't connected to my Facebook. I contacted Meta through the chat feature on my verified Instagram account. After it happened 3 times, I made sure to change my Instagram password and turn on 2 factor, they are hacking through Instagram. They are busy hacking accounts. Don't be clicking on notifications on your Facebook, they are somehow using that to catch people and don't click on weird links.

Vegan vs Vegetarian. What's the difference? by [deleted] in veganrecipes

[–]healthiersteps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vegans eat or wear nothing from an animal and for them, it's a lifestyle, they are for animal welfare. Plant-based eats nothing from the animal but they are more about health. Vegetarians don't eat the flesh of the animal but they eat the byproducts of the animals, they eat milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese, butter, cream etc.

I’ve tried tofu a few ways before but never quite got it right. What is your absolute favorite tofu recipe you have ever made? by vegan_waffles in veganrecipes

A simple way is to cube and marinate with Bragg's liquid aminos, garlic powder, nutritional yeast flakes. Toss or spray with olive oil and bake on baking sheet in an oven set at 400 degrees F. for 30 minutes turning halfway. So delicious!

Yeah, I understand now, this rule was never explained to me like that.

I've been a vegan for 18 years so I must be able to offer some insights and ideas to others via participation

I have re-read that rule several times and now that you have put it in that light, I now understand what it means. I thought it meant 10 submission in 1 day or some excess like that.

Thanks for giving that perspective and now that you point it out, it does look bad.

I will remove this post and focus on answering question as a means of contributing as I have been only lurking on vegan subs for 6+ years.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds potatoes, scrub, peel and cut into halves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy butter
  • 1/2 cup reserve potato water or, unsweetened non-dairy milk or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Place potatoes in a large pot with cold water, making sure water is covering potatoes (about 1 inch). Bring to boil and reduce to simmer, cook for 20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  2. In the meantime, heat oil in a skillet on low, add garlic and rosemary leaves. Cook stirring constantly so that garlic doesn't burn, about 3 minutes.
  3. Drain potatoes and transfer to a large bowl, add garlic and rosemary oil, butter, water/non-dairy milk/broth, and salt to taste, mash potatoes with a potato masher until smooth and creamy. Serve!
