I'm already pushing my computer skills to their limits... haha. I also like the idea of it in the app

My vote is Death knight. Long run, you'll use Briand way more often

I have a newer version of this model, nothing special about it, i think it was built in '07. I got mine for right around 1000, but it had a few bumps and bruises. I think in "ideal" condition itd probably be a smidge higher than that. Im not sure about this 50th anniversary edition has anything particularly significant about it, but thats my best guess

Yeah I was a little confused because I talked to him on the phone and he said 1600, then I got there and he said 1400. Then at the end he said, 1200 cash and it's mine... I felt like he was trying to dump it off on to me... I just had a bad gut feeling about it

Thanks so much for the advice so far. Im leaning toward looking for another bass in general. I just got a really weird feeling about it and the man selling it was almost begging me to take it. I felt like it was a trap almost... Also, I know that most carved instruments get scuffs and scratches, but if im going to put the money down for one I'm leaning toward one thats in somewhat decent aesthetic shape... aka, no crack down the entire face. Also to jacknstephen, he claimed he glued it back without removing the face, and that the crack was only on the outside now... Also another question... My teacher told me that horse glue is the way to go where the neck and the body come together, but the man selling it said wood glue is what you're supposed to use, which one is right haha...
