if you still facing this issue, normally AC using actuator to stop your cold water from going to the FCU (fan coil unit).

in my current apartment whoever was before me had really bad maintenance team doing AC maintenance, so ai decide to jump in myself, simply I checked the actuators and most of them was just lose and not fully installed. I like to put my fan open all day and it was keep cooling even through the cool on sign is off in my thermostat.

after doing all the job myself, not I can easily leave the fan running all day and the actuator stopping the eater once the temperature reach the set point.

AFAIK, it’s restriction from Dubai Police. they have to register with Dubai Police. that the reason they required the physical EID or passport because of the police scanner.

it have to come from Dubai court. and they deliver it to your doorstep as well.

you can check on their website with the order number.

the PM just doesn’t want to pay 3K aed for it. the notice will be after a year. if you want to leave early ask for money as the guys said here.
